
Ding King Surfboard Repair, has been a fixture in North County since 1976. Just a mile from the 'A' frame peaks of D street, it sits on what has always been surfboard hill. Back in the original building next to Bahne Skateboards, currently Fins Unlimited. The 1000 square foot location is equipped with a Torit ECB1 Sanding Room, and a 12'x22' Deluxe shaping room, home of NCP paddleboards, and Kobalt Shapes. The working floor has 12 down racks for prep work, glassing, hot coats, glosses, resin station, cloth racks, two grinding areas, and a professional airbrush room with hundreds of factory matched colors. The resin station is equipped with every tint and opaque color available for resin matching on retro style and truly old boards. Above the sanding and shaping room is a 400 square foot mezzanine that stores all the finished boards as well as a personal board collection and some classic paddleboards. Ding King is known for its excellent color work, quality repairs, quick turnaround, and professional service. We welcome all types of repairs ranging from polyester, epoxy, Saloman, wood veneer and carbon fiber. Our reputation for fiberglass repairs goes well outside the surfboard industry.
